Useless Coin is one out of 103 items that can be bought from the Shop.
Appearance[]
The item appears as a grey-bordered coin consisting of two sides; one being a blue-colored side with a sun icon (used for the Light of Aether effect), and another being a red-colored side with a spawn location decal (used for the Necrobloxicon's Vision effect).
Interaction[]
The item can be bought for 100 coins in-game. When the player presses the left click button, the player will flip the coin as it plays a brief coin hit sound, landing on either the blue or red side. When right-clicking, the player looks at the coin's side.
This item, like the Enchanted 8-Ball, can also be used to make quick decisions based on chance. There is a small chance when flipping the coin, the landed side will instead have its image switched out for a random image, and the sound is slightly different. However, it will be reverted once interacted with again. The random images are listed below:
- A vintage troll doll.
- Bob the Tomato from VeggieTales.
- A man holding an umbrella, from the Interloper effect.
- Hat Kid from A Hat in Time.
- An illustrative representation of Banrey.
- One of the Facebook Finch stickers.
- The Agony/Pain face meme.
- The Ash Baby meme.
- A cursed Barney the Dinosaur costume.
- A Roblox-fied version of Woody from Toy Story.
- Po from Teletubbies.
- A glagglfied version of GorillaWeb, an AxoSun developer.
- Quag's face.
- Shrek's face.
If the player inspects (F key), it will trigger an inspection animation showing the player spinning the coin with the hand, rolling it side by side, and then spinning it again before returning back to the idle.
