the anvil (or The Anvil) is one of the 104 items that are in-game, and is also one of the 54 floor-exclusive items.

Appearance

The item appears as a grey-colored metallic anvil, with a sharp edge being seen to the right of the item, alongside another smaller sharp edge to the left, with the item as a whole having a curved structure. The shelf the anvil resides on is also cracked as well.

Interaction

The item can be found in-game on a shelf on the Floppy Shoppy floor, where it can be purchased for one coin.

Purchasing it will give the player the anvil effect, which will significantly reduce the player's movement speed. While attempting to do so, the purchase confirmation UI will shake more progressively until the user stops trying or purchases it. The purchase requirement time is also extremely long.

Trivia

• The effect can be removed by basking in the fountain on the OFFICE OF floor.
• With this and the Yoyle Berry, players cannot move without a speed boost such as the BOGGLE JETFUEL.
  • When combined with Yoyle Berry and Speedy Latte, players will obtain the "Long Live Tortoises" build bonus, in which they will retain their normal walk speed and gain another maximum health boost of 100 to make 300 maximum health without any other maximum health boost and gain light fire resistance, with the only exception being the HALL OF incinerator.
