Suspiciously Long Room is one out of the 102 floors that can be randomly chosen, or selected by a player. It is currently in-game.
Appearance
The floor takes place in a liminal beige-painted hallway that consists of several furniture (e.g. sofas and lamps), alongside several obstacles that players must pass through, such as parkour segments or long, thin walkways suspended over void. There are also numerous paintings which reference various aspects of the game, amongst other media.
In between the obstacles, there can also be seen several 'safe' areas that players can go into in order to protect themselves against the main enemy of the floor. These take the form of minature cubby-holes typically filled with an armchair and a lamp, as well as coins.
Gameplay
When the floor is chosen, players are tasked with going out to navigate through the parkour challenges to get to the end, all while avoiding TARMITE by listening to its distinctive audio cue and hiding when it comes. TARMITE will rush to the start every 10-15 seconds.
The movement speed of the enemy has also heavily increased. There are about 15 checkpoints which the player will respawn at when failing an obstacle, with a camera placed at every five checkpoints. At the end of the floor, there can be seen a room similar to one of the safe areas, but with the addition of a ladder players can climb onto the roof area, making said players safe from the enemy and allowing them to spectate the remaining players.
TARMITE
TARMITE is a metal speeding wall with an unsettling grinning face that is semi-present on the level that could be seen prior to the 10/21/23 update, but now serves a more important part of the floor. It appears as a speeding metal wall with a smiling face that will quickly rush towards the elevator, instantly killing players who touch it, even if they are in a safe spot, and making a 'thud' noise once hitting the starting area. It will shake the screen while colliding, no matter how far from the elevator a player is. Afterward, it will very quickly retreat back to its starting place before repeating the cycle 10 to 15 seconds later. TARMITE cannot kill players and NPCs that are in the elevator.
Surviving TARMITE
To avoid TARMITE, players are able to listen for the sound of sliding metal. If heard, quickly enter one of the rooms on the side of the course to get out of its path. Once TARMITE hits the spawn and the thud occurs, it will retreat, and it will be safe to continue. It will run every 10-15 seconds, so repeat the process above to ensure your safety and complete the course. Typically, three parkour segments can be completed before TARMITE begins to move.

Trivia
- TARMITE's face originates from the Blockland character creator, nicknamed "The Block Mongler." It originated from the now-defunct www.DinosaurValley.com[1], a website for the "World's Largest Dinosaur" tourist attraction in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. The Block Mongler is traced from a picture in the "Fun Stuff" page of a man creepily smiling, paired with text containing a NSFW/inappropiate action captioned "A prime example of TOO MUCH time at the world's largest dinosaur."[2] This image became popular on forums in 2004, and was added to the game. Renderman is a well-known Blockland Horror Mod creator who frequently used this face.
- Players can spectate 'checkpoint' cameras, alongside the start and end of the floor. These checkpoints cameras are Front Camera, Checkpoint 1, Checkpoint 5, Checkpoint 10, and End Camera.
- If a player sits on the single sofa chair at the beginning of the floor, said player can not be killed by TARMITE.
- Sometimes, when running in the glass floor in the safe area while TARMITE is rushing, the player can sometimes die from it.
- This is due to the character's legs sometimes clipping through the floor and touching it while running, which may be caused by lag.
- The floor is a testing facility for a "super fast" hydraulic press.[3]
- If and when all alive players make it to the end, the floor will end after 10 seconds.
- The original song used for this level was composed by the Caretaker, who is infamous for also making EATOT.
