Appearance

Split is a Banana Fruit-Taur, which is a fictional species of fruit snail-dog taurs. Her hair is made of bananas that assimilate thick hair strands, she wears brown glasses, and a coiled-up banana as a shell. She has 2 squiggly antennae and brown eyes, a round, almost completely spherical nose, and a calm smile. She also has a light yellow skin tone and an orange shirt. The brown tips of the bananas on her are a wood texture.

In her Halloween appearance, she has the same appearance but her shirt has a yellow, glowing drawing of her face, and her claws on her arms and legs are white.

In her Christmas appearance, she has the same appearance but her clothes, hair, and shell are completely red.

Description

Split will appear among the crowd of people beside SComics in Splitsville! Once 3 players complete the obby, she leaves the crowd and enters the elevator. When in the elevator, Split will sometimes throw Banana Peel. If MR is in the elevator or the elevator is full, Split will stop in front of the elevator door until the floor ends.

Split, in dialogue, sometimes replaces syllables of some words with nouns that sound similar to the syllable, with the noun highlighted by quotation marks, for example; very nice to 'berry' nice, what are you doing to 'water' you doing, unappealing to una-peel-ing, etc.

If there are fewer than 3 players in a server, only the amount of players currently playing will need to finish the obby in Splitsville! to trigger her entering the elevator.

• Split was designed by TheCanvasCreature.
• Players are able to get the "SIDE-SPLITTER" badge by meeting Split for the first time.
• On the Cardboard House floor, Split will open the door in the living room and walk through it, revealing a black void behind the door. However, players cannot enter the door.
• Her right leg slightly clips through her peel.
• The second version of the sound used when she talks is from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
• Split's talking animation is a reference to Banana Phone.
• Showering Split with the Petal Cone will give the player the Rain Boots effect, and the player will be unable to slip on bananas for 5 minutes.
  • If a squashed player were to shower Split with the Petal Cone, and then return to their normal height (before the Rain Boots effect runs out), their rain boots would disappear, but the effect remains.
• Split has 6 (7 if you count inspired) UGC accessories: "Split Face", "Banana Snail Shell", "Brown Glasses", "Banana Antennas", "Banana Peel Hair", "Banana Split Skirt", and "Banana Split Scarf".

    • Unlike an actual banana, Split can not ripen because her unique species is a "Banana Fruit-Taur".
  • Despite this, younger Fruit-taurs may be green, akin to unripe bananas.

  • According to TheCanvasCreature on Tumblr, Split's feelings for Bive are somewhat by intrigue and genuine interest, as Split sees Bive as an "Interesting character". Split likes listening to people and Bive always has something to talk about. Despite how paranoic Bive tends to seem, Split will always listen to what she has to say and show interest, to understand more about Bive and get to know her.
  • Following from the same post by Canvas, all of this can apply to Split liking being someone's rock or comfort person. With how unpredictable and unstable Bive is, Split can't help but want to comfort her more.
  • However, they are not in a relationship, according to TheCanvasCreature on Tumblr.
• Split thinks that Bive has a few screws loose, but she doesn't mind her conspiracy theories.
  • In fact, she believes in some of them, specifically ones that have to do with the clown militia.
