Regretevator Competitive is a gamemode that is similar to Doors: Ranked, with a portal in the Lobby leading players into the Competitive Lobby. It is part of Roblox's Takeover event, which started on 12/09/25 at 19:00 UTC.

Gameplay[]

In Regretevator Competitive, the players' main objective is to be the last one alive. This gamemode is similar to the main game, however with some key differences with items, floors, coins, etc. The floors have the same mechanics as their main game counterparts except with minor to major modifications, listed below.

NPCs can spawn randomly on every floor, and when NPCs are in the elevator, they give exclusive effects such as double-jump or extra coins per attack. The only two exceptions are Infected, who infects parts (same as in-game), and Scag as a literal explosive respectively.

Items[]

Items can be earned by purchasing them in Vending Machines or from the crates by Prototype's crate dispenser.

NPCs[]

NPC Effect Action
Mannequin Mark Splinter Snowballs Snowballs deal more damage, and have splinters in them.
Scag (SCAG) SCAG HAS A BOMB - RUN x9 Scag exits the elevator on floors to chase players, with a timer of 20.0 seconds counting down to detonation while the effect provides a significant speed boost for the players to run from her.
Melanie Double Jump Time Allows players to double jump in the air.
PartyNoob Speedboost +5 walkspeed for every PartyNoob in the Elevator.
Pest Bonus coins When collecting or earning coins, players earn more for each Pest in the Elevator.
Nan Pity Peel When slipping on a Banana Peel, players gain one. This includes peels thrown by themselves, therefore giving players a way to farm them.
Prototype None Prototype holds a crate dispenser, which creates crates that eventually break to reveal an item.
Infected None Infected functions the same way as in the main game, infecting a part of the elevator.

Floor Changes[]

  • There is decreased time between floors.
  • The floors have vending machines selling items such as BOGGLE JETFUEL and Chocolate Milk.
  • Button Competition - The floor is easy to fall with pits littered with Unnamed Mouth Creatures, also seen in Frightening Floor.
    • Buttons are now larger, and spawn faster.
    • Buck is present in the storage area.
  • Cardboard Room - There are more pits in the ground.
    • The only floor NPCs can leave in.
    • Doors with dark stains on their knobs lead to Fafa (3D).
      • Fafas are way more common.
    • There is a room where cardboard beds are used as platforms.
    • Red Glows indicate that there is a hole in front of the next room's door.
      • Though it could also indicate a room that intersects to the right midway, leading to a sitting room with vending machines.
    • Green Glows indicate that there is a hole on the right side of a narrow room.
    • Special rooms may appear, but not too much.
    • There is a short hallway only containing Vending Machines.
    • The door that NPCs exit through is right next to the elevator.
  • Dance Party - Brock welcomes the players, skipping how the floor's minigame works and starts telling what color/number to stand on.
    • Brock announcing which color to stand on is slightly faster compared to the original floor.
    • Vending machines are scattered across the dance floor, and they will fall once a color is selected.
    • Players that fall into the grinder will be launched back upwards, giving them another chance after being damaged 30 health.
  • Dodge Teh Teapots - Appears to have a concrete skating theme. Vending Machines are near the spawn area.
  • Four Corners - Shows the 3 incorrect colours at the start of the floor instead of the 1 correct one. Also, the ground falls quicker.
    • Follows a certain pattern twice. (Ex: RGB, RGY, RBY, GBY.)
    • The ground beneath the colours is much less deeper, launching players upwards as they're given another chance after being damaged 30 health.
  • Fun Flood at Squishy's - Gregoriah doesn't speak and the flood starts right away.
    • The Alternate Route 1's conveyor belt will be infested with squishies if a player takes too long making their way up.
    • Variants of the floor are also present.
  • Happy Home Party - The meteors start falling right away. All NPCs present in the elevator will say "Party!"
    • Meteors have a 1/3 chance of spawning a coin on impact.
  • Jermpop Factory - Players have increased walk speed, and there are less buttons to be pressed.
    • Every button is highlighted with green GUI.
    • Buck is present either in the Cafeteria and inside Jermbo's office.
    • Jermbomination has a red outline and is much faster.
      • It does not kill a player immediately upon contact, instead dealing 30 damage each time.
  • Mozelle's Strawberry Game - Throwing items are now allowed with the sign at the start saying "PLEASE THROW ITEMS!!!" and "Destroy!"
    • Floor is much slippier to walk on, with the exception of scattered obstacles of the floor.
    • Rare variants of the floor are also present.
  • On The Heights - The map is now replaced by nn_crossroads_v2 from nico's nextbots.
    • Sandstorm is replaced with "Evil Storm" which drains the health of a player much faster.
  • PET CAPTURE DELUXE - The white void's floor has been replaced with Lava, along with the introduction of some new Pets.
    • New pets that appear here will only appear in the competitive version of this floor and not in the original floor.
      • Has been changed after 09/21/2025 as the new pets have been added to the original floor.
      • Some of the pets may be based off of developers.
  • Stanley Room - The floor may be shorter, along with the timer; the timer is 90 seconds instead of 120.
  • Studio Obby - Kill-bricks do not move for a moment once the floor starts.
  • SUDDEN DEATH - An exclusive floor that only appears once there are 3 or 2 players remaining.
    • Players stand in a platform similar to a target symbol, with each layer progressively falling down as the floor goes on.
    • Screens above count down to when the next layer will fall, with the layer subtly flashing if it is about to fall.
    • Items will start raining down on the players.
    • The floor will only end once there is 1 player remaining, which is the winner.
  • Superhighway - Has a skater theme with brick buildings, a much shorter road of 3 lanes, and the house at the end is replaced with a building.
    • Contains Voombas that appear near the elevator.
    • When the player reaches the finish line, the finish line moves to the other side of the road for that player, so they can continue to cross the roads back and forth to win more coins.
  • Temple of, Something - Gem explodes immediately, and the tiles on the floor takes slightly longer to disappear.
    • The floor is desaturated rather than having different colors.
    • The Ancient Inhibitor is not present, and is replaced with the Inhibitor.
    • An additional minor layer is added just above the last layer.
  • WALL OF - The red atmosphere seen around the original floor is now light blue for players to see more clearly. Also, the gate falls quicker and the flames are green.
