Reddy is an NPC that can be found in-game, and will enter the elevator.

Appearance

Reddy has the appearance of a tall coral red animatronic figure wearing a dark red tie. The upper portion of its left leg is damaged, exposing a metal bar within. Its head is a cut out red ball with large, sunken-in sockets, small white eyeballs, alongside a jaw.

Sometimes, it can be fully gold and have its name changed to "GoldenReddy".

In the 2024 April Ghouls' Update, they have the same appearance but in a darker, more red color, and the lower jaw is broken.

Description

Personality-wise, Reddy is very defensive of Red Ball Diner, which is the company that created them. Reddy will often take sentences as literal questions relating to issues regarding Red Ball Diner. Reddy will sometimes even act as if it is in Red Ball Diner despite being in the elevator, and will often fail to recognize other nonhuman NPCs as sentient (usually by mentioning that animals are not allowed in Red Ball Diner to Bive, DrRETRO, Gnarpy, Mozelle, and Pest.)

When talking, only the upper half of its head will move, with its lower jaw staying still.

Presumably due to lack of maintenance on Red Ball Diner's part, it stutters very frequently on its own words.

Interactions

In the FNARB floor, Reddy can be in one of the two halls walking or running. Once Reddy stands in front of the left hall's door or peeks out from the right hall's window, players can block it from entering the office by closing the door to the hall Reddy is in. If they don't, Reddy will jumpscare them and damage them for 90% HP. Reddy will then walk into the elevator.

However, if the player runs out of power, Reddy will go to the left door. It will flicker its eyes and play a music box rendition of either "Clair de Lune" or "Toreador March". Afterwards, it will jumpscare the players on the floor and damage them for 90% HP. Reddy still arrives to the elevator if this happens.

It is possible to avoid being damaged by Reddy's jumpscare by staying towards the back of the elevator. Players will still receive damage if in the office or near the front of the elevator. However, if MR is in the elevator or if it's full, Reddy will fall apart instead of entering.

When Reddy has been replaced with GoldenReddy, there will be no new additions to the NPC besides the name and color change.

In Reddy's Underground Diner, Reddy will leave the stage and follow players when the lights are off. If Reddy gets close enough to them, he will kill and jumpscare them with an animation of it screaming. When the lights turn back on, he will return to the stage.

• This NPC is one of five elevator NPCs that can hurt players. The others being Spud!, PartyNoob, RAT, Gnarpy, and DrRETRO.
• Reddy is a quite frankly obvious reference to the game Five Nights At Freddy's.
• Reddy is based off the Red Teddy item.
• According to Yeuc_c, the jumpscare sound played is an edited scream of Goku from Dragon Ball Z.
• Reddy's alternate render's pose resembles Withered Freddy's in-office pose in FNaF 2.
• Players are able to get the "HARHARHARHARHAR" badge by meeting Reddy for the first time. This is based off a Meme Video.
• Showering Reddy with the Petal Cone will make him throw out a Squishy(2 maximum).
• Using the Spray Bottle on Reddy would result in it getting stunned for a short time with red lightning beams. However, one of the lightning beams will also affect the player who sprayed it, dealing 10-20 damage to them.
  • Reddy has a small chance to throw out a Red Teddy if they are sprayed(2 maximum).
• Reddy is the second NPC to come from 2 floors, the first being Bive.
• If the player turns off "Jumpscares" in Settings, the jumpscare caused by Reddy in Reddy's Underground Diner is instead a still image of it screaming with text saying "reddy caught you 😭👶" in the center of the screen with black background.
• When it lands on The Subway floor, Reddy will stand on the tracks to get run over by a train.
• Reddy makes an appearance in Pressure, being a rare easter egg inside a cage, along with a Red Teddy sitting on a chair. Interacting with the Red Teddy makes it say it's signature line, "I HATE YOU!"
• Not counting FleshCousin, MR, or Fish, Reddy is the only Elevator NPC without a Halloween costume. This is because the 3D modeler who was supposed to model their costume got busy. They were originally going to be dressed as a pirate.
