Red Ball Temple is one out of the 93 floors that can be randomly chosen, or selected by a player. It is currently in-game.

Appearance[]

The floor appears as a massive room with decals of Red Teddies on the walls. The ceiling is an arch made of wood, with support beams and lights underneath. The floor is a sandstone checkerboard pattern with a white carpet going down the middle of it, facing a brick wall on one end, and a doorway to the parkour on the other end, with a sign above it stating; 'The Red Ball Temple.' in what appears to be sans serif font.

The doorway also has two torches to either side of it. Pale text will also appear at the bottom of every players' screen stating: "A GREAT REWARD AWAITS YOU AT THE ENDS OF THIS TEMPLE".

The floor has four main sections, with curving stairways connecting each of them. The walls of the parkour are beige brick walls that have periodically spaced out torches and grey circles with faint Red Teddy face decals. The roof is flat and made of stone. There are also wooden pathways that players can walk onto in order to get to the other sections, however will be destroyed during the Red Ball chase sequence.

The first of the sections is a straight hallway consisting of two parkour elements both with sand-like floors, and an arrow pointing the way at the start of the stairway.

The second section is a semicircle shaped room, with most of the floor being a void, while the parkour curves across the wall in a U shape, and it’s cut into parkour sections. The parkour sections have ground varied between sand, and sludge, which gives the player the Sticky Tar effect for 1s every time it is touched. Most of the parkour is blocked off by weak walls made of wooden logs. To counter this there is a long wooden bridge from the start of the semicircle to the end.

The third section is the same as the second section, but with different parkour, and its mirrored.

The fourth and final section is a big cathedral room with more grey Red Teddy decals on the walls, and a giant one at the end. In the middle of the room there is a staircase up to a platform with Ram holding out a Red Block! for players to pick up.

Gameplay[]

When in the parkour area, players will gain the Ancient Inhibitor Effect, which prevents them from going faster in any way.

Around when there are 1 minute and 45/30 seconds remaining, red text will appear at the bottom of the screen saying "SOMETHING TERRIBLE THIS WAY COMES", and shortly after, a giant Red Hot Distressed Ball will roll out of the giant decal at the end and start destroying anything in its path, and killing any players in the way, regardless of if they have the RED BLOCK! effect.

Players will also lose their Ancient Inhibitor effect, Then all of the wooden barricades will fall, forcing the player to go through the entire parkour course to get back to the Elevator. If the floor doesn't end early, the giant Red Teddy will then roll into the starting area and crash through the brick wall, subsequently falling into a pit.

Trivia[]

  • Somewhere around the middle of the third parkour section, there is a closed door that can be opened by throwing Tomato at the Axolotl Sun eye above Ram, near the open ceiling window on top of the cathedral room. Behind the door is another obstacle course where at the end, players can get the Bowling Ball item.
    • The Axolotl Sun eye can only be opened with a tomato, signaled by its red coloring.
  • The text that appears before the giant red teddy starts rolling may be a reference to ULTRAKILL, specifically level 0-S.
    • Alternatively, it can be referencing the line "something wicked this way comes" from Shakespeare's Macbeth.
  • In the music, specifically the second part, you can hear cuts from several Red Teddy voicelines, such as "I HATE YOU!", "MOVE!", etc.
    • Additionally, in the first part of the song, the talking sounds of various NPCs can be heard, including Prototype and FleshCousin.
