MusicPlayer is one of the 104 items that can be bought in the Shop, but as a VIP-exclusive.

Appearance

The item has the appearance of an iPod with a large black screen and audio control and playback buttons below.

On the GUI menu, the item has a selection list, a line showing the duration of the music, and a Settings button that contains the music volume and playback speed functions.

Interaction

The item can be bought for 250 coins in-game. When interacted with, players can listen to original tracks from the Regretevator OST by selecting it on the music selection screen.

They can also modify the playback speed and the music volume, and can also pause the music currently playing and rewind to a different point in the song.

Trivia

  • Instead of buying this item, you can play the Regretevator OSTs in another window.
  • It is the first item that can play music.
  • It is one out of eight VIP-only items, with the others being the Wooden Sign, Enchanted 8-Ball, Plastic Karambit, C4, Fidget Spinner, Iceball and Mini-Magnet.
  • Before an unknown update, It was the only in-game item to not have a unique description when shown on the showcase menu.
  • For some unknown reason, there are some tracks in the official soundtrack playlist that can not be played on the MusicPlayer.
  • For some unknown reason, the song that plays after death is listed twice, under "Seraphic Shatter" and "Death Track."
  • The description of the item is a reference to a secret in Hitman: Blood Money.
  • While a song is playing, the background music that is currently playing in the game completely mutes until the song is paused.
    • The only exception is the music the ice cream truck from Minefield emits.
  • If the player unequips the MusicPlayer while a song is playing, it will continue playing until the player pauses it by the GUI while the item is equipped.
