Floors are areas that players can explore or interact with. In the games, floors can be randomly chosen during an intermission, with the only exception being that if a player selects a specified floor through the Floor Selection menu utilizing Floor Tickets.

Every 15 floors, a shop floor will be forced automatically, and every 50 floors, a special floor will be forced automatically. If a player survives one floor in-game, it will increase said player's floor counter.

Players can earn coins and badges by reaching specific floor streak milestones or cumulative floor amount milestones.

There are 102 floors that are in-game as of now, including floors that have been removed from the game.

    • Dance Party. (Previously didn't use to, and used to prior to its update. No longer does so after the 09/21/2025 update).
  • If Wallter is in the elevator when arriving at the Hole in the Wall floor, he will either go through the hole and run away or fix said hole. If the latter occurs, when a player hovers their mouse over Wallter, his name will appear as "Wall" instead.
  • Floors can be selected using Floor Tickets or 80 Robux.
    • Previously, a player could select a floor with coins, but this was removed due to Roblox taking a large cut of the Robux developers make, and the select floor with coins feature had decreased the chance of a player selecting a floor with Robux.[2][3]
  • Currently, S.T.A.T.'s Domain is the floor with the longest possible duration, clocking in at 5 minutes 5 seconds.
    • Before the 10/13/24 update, Eternal Limbo had the longest duration, at 5 minutes 30 seconds. It has since been shortened to 3 minutes 30 seconds.
  • Previously, the Flood Fill Mine, UES, Cardboard Mansion and Backrooms floors were the only floors that players could find Floor Tickets in before Ticket Printers were added.[citation needed]
    • Backrooms (Rarely contains a Floor ticket, but can only appear in specific areas.)
    • Cardboard Mansion (A Floor ticket is located in a ceiling vent in Dobe's containment room, can only be collected if Fizz Jug is used while positioned under the vent.)
    • Flood Fill Mine (Used to have rainbow cubes containing a Floor ticket. Eventually removed in an unknown update.)
    • UES (There is a rare chance for a steel cabinet to contain a Floor ticket.)
  • Only one floor exists in the Multiplayer category as of the 5/18/24 update.
  • Every 15 floors, a shop floor will be forced, regardless of what was supposed to come next.
    • Prior to the 12/21/2024 update, shop floors would be forced every 20 floors.[4]
    • The forced floor will override floors queued with Floor Tickets, making it so the player-queued floor will come after the shop floor.
  • Every 50 floors, a special floor will be forced, regardless of what was supposed to come next.
    • The forced floor will override floors queued with Floor Tickets, making it so the player-queued floor will come after the special floor.
  • Every 150 floors, a shop floor will occur, and a special floor will occur subsequently.
