Kitty is one out of the 56 items in-game, and is also one of the 26 floor-exclusive items.

Appearances

In the main game, the item appears as a simplified cat model that can be found with various colors and faces. Currently, there are six common variants and seven known rare variants, with 13 variants altogether, which are listed below.

Common

• White - A white kitty with the :3 face.
• Tabby - A gray kitty with the Classic Goof face.
• Black - A black kitty with the AsciiTerror face from Blockland.
• Orange - An orange kitty with the Pal Face.
• Calico - A calico cat with a black torso and tail, orange left legs, white right legs, a white head, and the Sly Cat face.
• RageFilled - A red kitty with the Normal face, with the mouth flipped upside down and eyebrows drawn on.

Rare

• Cardboard - A kitty fully made of cardboard with Wallter's face colored white.
• Jermbo - A white kitty with a photo of Jermbo as a face.
• Man - A pitch black kitty with a bust photo of a man as a face, which is also used as one of the Elevator panel images.
• Renderman - A pitch black kitty with Renderman's face from a Blockland horror mod.
• Skitty/Scag - A glowing blue kitty with Scag's face.
• Concrete - A grey kitty with the concrete texture and a face similar to Melanie's.
• Translucent- A pink translucent kitty with the Normal face colored white.

Interaction

The item can be found on the Random Maze, Gm flatgrass, Toolbox Speedway, Cardboard Mansion, Backrooms, Toolbox Thrift, Area 51, 3008, and Mysterious Ball Room floors. When equipped, the player will hold the kitty up, who will look around at random times. When interacted with, the player will kiss the kitty on the head and pet it.

Trivia

• Infected is the only NPC who will accept and hold kitties when offered to them.
  • Unpleasant can also be offered a kitty. However, instead of holding it, the kitty will disappear with a munching sound effect and Unpleasant will be fully healed if damaged previously.
  • More NPCs will have specific interactions with Kitties in the future.
• It's hinted by Yeuc_c that there may be more kitty variants,
• Players are only allowed to grab one kitty at a time, and trying to grab another with one in your inventory will not pick it up or swap it out.
• The Jermbo variant makes the same "womp womp" sound when Jermbo is encountered on Hole in the Wall.
• The Kitty model used for all of the item's variants originates from a cat morph found in the Morph Magic plugin that was prevalent throughout Roblox roleplaying games.
  • All of the cat variants' ear models that the morphs used are also used for this item, and originates from the Kitty Ears hat published by Roblox.
• Kitties are not guaranteed to spawn on a floor, with certain floors having a higher chance to have them.
  • Random Maze has the highest chance to contain a kitty out of all of the floors, usually containing two by the corners closest to the elevator.
• The ragefilled kitty is notably less common than other kitties, but not as hard to find as rare kitties.
• The cardboard kitty can rarely be found on other floors, but is significantly more common on the Cardboard Mansion floor.
