Hotel Floor is one out of 85 floors that can be randomly chosen, or selected by a player. It is currently in-game.

Appearance[]

The floor takes place in a hotel floor with differently colored floors and ceilings, alongside a wall painted in two different colors, separated by a white-colored line. A large six numeral is placed in front of the elevator, and what seems to be an elevator indicator to the right of the elevator.

There can also be seen two couches, a table with a water bottle and a box on it, and a gumball machine to the right of the elevator. To the very left of the elevator, there can be seen a window, showing a view of several buildings.

Multiple television screens, displaying nothing at first, alongside recessed lighting can be seen throughout the floor. To the very right of the elevator, there can be seen a hallway with five rooms, each being labeled 624 to 628. At the end of the hallway reveals multiple signs saying "TURN BACK" heavily written over it and blocking entry from a darkened hallway.

The safe room also has the same theme as the rest of the floor, having a red and black patterned carpet floor, beige walls, and a white ceiling. Furnishing it is a bed with white blankets, a brown closet, and a brown cabinet with an orange radio and a framed GIF depicting a cartoon-like 3D animation of several colorful smiley balls with ball hands jumping side-to-side.

Gameplay[]

When the floor begins, players can explore around the area, but can not interact with the doors during this time. After a few seconds however, the television screens will then suddenly display: "[!!] - NEUROTOXIN IS GOING TO FILL THE HALLWAY, EVACUATE INTO AN AVAILABLE ROOM - [!!]", flashing between red text with a black background and black text with a red background. An alarm will also go off during this warning. During this event, the whole floor will then flash a bright red color.

Players need to choose one unlocked door out of four locked doors. Once the unlocked door is found, players can enter the room and will be protected against the neurotoxin, which deals 25 HP/4s to players and NPCs. However, there is a cooldown on the doors, and they can only be reopened after a certain amount of time.

Trivia[]

  • This floor is one out of five floors that can do damage to, or kill NPCs, with the other floors being Frightening Floor, Turret, Backrooms, and previously Spike.
    • This is due to the elevator door being open during the event, so the neurotoxin will kill almost any available NPCs that are currently in it.
    • NPCs with high enough HP, specifically Wallter, Spud!, Unpleasant, and Split, are not killed by this floor.
    • Prototype and Scag can't be damaged by the neurotoxin.
  • This floor makes a cameo in the Gumball Machine floor as the outside area.
    • The gumball machine also makes an appearance near the elevator as well.
    • The music that plays in the Safe room is called "FUMKY" which is the same music that plays on the WHEEL OF floor.
    • The other rooms that aren't able to be entered will have a black painting.
  • The radio's audio is affected by the "Music Volume" option.
    • With this, it's possible to know which door is the correct one before they unlock, by turning "Music Volume" around the maximum, putting your device/game volume high, and going near the doors to see if slight music is coming out of on of them.
      • Although, you have to do this tactic fast, otherwise the alarms may blockout the audio for the music.
  • If you are equipping the Gas Mask, you can resist the neurotoxin without losing HP for 48 seconds in total.
  • The ambient that plays near the 'TURN BACK' signs is "Bright Moon Cottage - Ambient - A" from LSD Dream Emulator
