Glognut is one out of 103 items that are in-game, and is also one out of 54 floor-exclusive items as well.
Appearance
The item appears as a yellow cookie with a smiley face on top.
Interaction
The item can be bought in Shop Space for 15 coins in-game. When used, a GIF of a set of glognuts wiggling constantly while blurring after a short time will cover the player's screen, lasting a few seconds before fading away.
The player's model, including their body, clothes, and accessories will turn yellow, and their face replaced with a simple smiley face. If the player eats the Glognut, but stops holding the item before the transformation occurs, only their face will be replaced.
They will be given a UI consisting of a smiley-styled panel with a yellow squiggly border with several smiley faces reaching out towards the middle of the screen, text at the top and bottom that reads "Touys for Gigglebub", and several different components.
If a player tries consuming a Glognut while already under the effects of one, text at the top will read out "I'M ALREADY JOYOUS!!!! STOP IT!!!!"
Some of these components have uses, while the others uses are currently unknown, or otherwise do not have any. During this effect, //GIGGLEVISION3000 also plays in the background, overriding all of the other music heard. If the player uses an emote with accompanying music, then that music will temporarily interrupt the theme. Music played from the MusicPlayer will also override the Glognut music.
Modes
Some information may be inaccurate.
- Blinkometer: Will go down over time, warning the player if it gets too low. Once it reaches the end, it will force the player to blink, causing their screen go black for a moment.
- Mood status: Will go down over time, but can be brought back up by clicking the "hit me now :)" button at the bottom. Will make the player's Blinkometer to go down faster the lower it is, from around 20 seconds down to 10 seconds per blink.
- Compass: Will usually lead the player towards the closest NPC that has a smiley face, (etc. Enphoso in Shop Space, Giggler in Random Maze, Jaoba in UES) but it will also point to The Follower after Buck is eaten. It will display how far away any available NPCs are. If there is no NPC on the floor the player is on, or if one of the NPCs are too far away, it will instead display "??? away" and the compass arrow will spin around randomly.
- Radar: Will show nearby NPCs using the same color indicators as the NPCs key. while the player is shown as a cyan dot and other players are shown as a dark blue-grey player icon. Other players that are also on the player's friend list are dark-green player icons. NPCs that are able to enter the elevator are shown as green dots, hostile NPCs are shown as red dots, and The Follower is shown as a black dot. Dan, Sam and Pam in Rock Park are shown as purple dots. The RATs in the Random Maze are shown as giant red circles with a moving black ring .
- Glaggle glass pro max™: This is a large transparent screen to the bottom right that can be turned on and off. It is currently unknown if any objects appear differently through the screen, or if it even functions at all.
- Giggledoonies: There is text indicating that the player has $99999999 "giggledoonies". Currently, there are no known locations where the player can spend or use giggledoonies, so they are probably useless.
There is also a smiley face that gets squashed and stretched as it flies around the screen, along with a smiley at the bottom of the screen that blinks and looks around randomly, regardless of what may be happening around the player.
