Frightening Floor is one of the 93 floors a player can randomly choose or select. It is currently in-game.
Appearance[]
The floor appears as a tall brick-like structure without a proper floor at the bottom, with a creature with deformed teeth instead. Some lights are also placed along the walls of the structure.
Gameplay[]
When this floor is chosen, a voice suddenly announces that a player must leave the elevator because it has reached 'maximum capacity'. Afterward, a sign stating a player's name alongside an image of said player is lowered onto the elevator. The elevator doors will also open, with the same player's name and picture at the front.
The player is then given the choice to either walk out into the pit or stay. If the player chooses to walk out, said player will then be killed, and the announcer will thank the players, ending the floor afterward. However, if the player chooses to stay, the sign will then be raised, and the elevator floor will fall, killing both players who stay on the floor and NPCs.
During this event, players can go onto the railings to survive. After the event ends, the floor will slowly reappear, and the floor will end.

Trivia[]
- The announcer was voiced by John Roblox before an update on an unknown date.
- When the floor was first introduced, there was a bug where if any NPCs were in the elevator and the requested person refused to jump out, when a floor containing an NPC that could enter the elevator was chosen, said NPC could not enter the elevator.
- The reason the bug was caused was that certain NPCs couldn't die on this floor.
- Some of the screams emitted by a character when jumping into the pit can reference one of the following:
- Scientist's Scream in Half-Life.
- The Scream sound effect in Super Mario Maker.
- The dialogue "Thank you for your understanding, have a fantastic Friday" was not the same as the one said by the announcer, with it being "Thank you for your cooperation, have a great day" instead. Later on, this was fixed, possibly during the switch in voice actors.
- This floor is one out of 5 floors that can do damage to or kill NPCs, with the other floors being Hotel Floor, Spike, Backrooms, and Turret.
- If MR is on the elevator and falls due to the corresponding player not leaving the elevator, MR will simply reappear once the floor regenerates. Around 2-5 floors later, MR will cut the lights and be back in the same position it was before. Therefore, if players let MR fall, players don't get rid of it entirely.
- When the floor falls, there is a chance for the AxoSun logo on the elevator floor to still be in place. However, this could be a bug.
- In an unknown update, the feature for players to fall into a portal to be taken to a dropper minigame was added. Completing it gives the player the "PLUMMET" badge.
- If the player does not complete the dropper in time, they will remain at a fast speed until the next floor arrives.
- When the floor is loading, the username will say "ONLYTWENTYCHARACTERS..." in reference to the Roblox admin of the same username.
- The floor is supposedly named the "Unsteady Floor" internally.
- This is mentioned by Nicant in the 7/13/24 patch notes, where he complains about needing to unify the internal and public names.
- The 3-note chime heard at the start of the announcers is similar to that from airplanes or possibly other elevators.
Tips[]
- If the selected person does not go out, stand on the railings.
- If the railings are hot, have a lot of healing items.
