Flash Beacon is one of the 56 items in-game, and is also one of the 26 floor-exclusive items.
Appearance[]
The Flash Beacon appears as a handheld power tool with a similar design to a power drill. It has grey-black color design with peach-colored light bulbs.
Interaction[]
The item can be bought in the Sebastian's Wares floor. When interacted with, it will emit a bright light in front of the player for a short amount of time. Afterwards, the light from the item will fade out.
Most NPCs will also react negatively to the item when a player flashes them with it.
Trivia[]
- Flash Beacon’s original description was “Point directly at eyes for best result”, mainly working as reverse psychology as you shouldn't point directly at eyes.
- The new description is a reference to how Sebastian and certain monsters in Pressure don't like the Flash Beacon being pointed directly at their eyes.
- PartyNoob is the only NPC that reacts positively to the Flash Beacon, by instead conceptualizing it as "rave lights".
