Daily Challenges are a system in Regretevator that gives players a new challenge to complete every 24 hours for various rewards, typically being Coins, Stickers, Floor Tickets, and Challenge Credits. The rewards for these challenges increase as the player keeps doing their daily challenge without missing a day.
Currently, there are 10 types of daily challenges.
Description[]
Upon joining the game and closing the initial update summary window, the player will be presented with a weekly calendar displaying several different rewards on each day. The calendar can be closed and minimized.
The player is told their specific challenge in the upper right corner through a GUI small menu, alongside two other buttons to the left of the menu. The "Cal." button re-opens the calendar and the "Choose" button allows the player to buy a different challenge to do for 80 robux. If the player has already completed their challenge for the day, the menu will instead display the time left until the next challenge and the "Choose" button will no longer be present.
Time left until the next challenge.
The player can hide the challenge menu at any time by clicking on "Hide Challenge". When a challenge is completed, a small chime will play and a green "CLAIM" will appear where "Hide Challenge" once was. In the calendar, players can hover over an individual day to see its exact rewards.
Some challenges restart if the player dies, though most do not. If the player leaves the server, the progress on their challenge will not carry over and they will have to restart.
The first time a player joins the game, they will be greeted by Zach and he will give them a tutorial on the functions of Daily Challenges.
Daily challenges will always roll over at 12 AM UTC.[1]
Challenges[]
"Jump [X] times in a session while actively playing."[]
The player must jump as many times as the challenge says while in the elevator or on floors. This challenge cannot be progressed or completed in the lobby. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- The challenge is incremented as soon as the player touches the ground from a jump, so having lower gravity is not helpful.
- Tall NPCs like Wallter and Folly can be jumped on top of or under for quicker jumps.
- Floors with small places for the player to wedge themselves in are good for racking up a lot of quick jumps.
- Some examples of this are the undersides of the lamps in Suspiciously Long Room and the shelves of Button Competition and Snackcore.
- It is possible for the player to wedge themselves under the railing of the elevator and gain jumps there. This is much easier with the Squash effect.
- The Criss Cross Applesauce emote reduces player hitbox, allowing smaller spaces to be used for this challenge.
- This is achieved much more easily by using the Anchor found in the BFDI floor.
"Spray [X] different elevator NPCs in a session."[]
The player must spray as many unique elevator NPCs as the challenge says while in the elevator or on floors. This challenge cannot be progressed or completed in the lobby. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- This challenge can only be given to players that own the Spray Bottle item.
- Players should always make sure the challenge has incremented when spraying certain NPCs, as some are finicky when it comes to registering they've been sprayed.
- The Spray Bottle has a sweet spot for spraying others and should not be used too close or too far away from the target NPC.
- Every individual NPC in the elevator can only be sprayed once. This applies to multiple instances of the same NPC in the elevator.
- Most NPCs that enter the elevator at some point can be sprayed while outside of the elevator and it will count, such as spraying Infected while he is at his computer in Infected Apartment.
- Players can server hop to find a server with 4 NPCs in the elevator.
"Travel a distance of [X] studs while actively playing."[]
The player must run as far as the challenge says while in the elevator or on floors. This challenge cannot be progressed or completed in the lobby. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- Large floors that give the player a speed boost are very helpful for this challenge.
- 3008, HALL OF, Suspiciously Long Room, and Toolbox Speedway are ideal floors depending on the player's skill level.
- The challenge only counts walking distance, not jumping distance.
"Survive [X] floors."[]
The player must survive as many floors as the challenge says. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- Being sent to spectator mode will not increment the challenge, so players should avoid it when possible.
- Some floors that commonly send players to spectate mode are Four Corners, Snowy Slope, Temple of, Something, and Dance Party.
"Complete [X] floors"[]
The player must see "FLOOR COMPLETED" as many times as quest says.
Tips:
- Some of the floors simply cannot be completed, like shop floors.
"Get knocked over [X] times while actively playing."[]
The player must get knocked over as many times as the challenge says while in the elevator or on floors. This challenge cannot be progressed or completed in the lobby. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- The challenge is incremented every time the player is put in a limp ragdoll. Stiff ragdolls, like those given by snowballs or the obstacles on Splitsville!, do not count.
- Every source that can knock you over is the same source as the Ragdolled effect. Tripping on Banana Peel also counts.
- Self-applied sources of Ragdolled, like Fizz Jug and C4, only work inside the elevator or on floors.
"Use Petal Cone on [X] different elevator NPCs in a session."[]
The player must shower as many unique NPCs with the Petal Cone item as the challenge says while in the elevator or on floors. This challenge cannot be progressed or completed in the lobby. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- This challenge can only be given to players that own the Petal Cone item.
- Players should always make sure the challenge has incremented when showering certain NPCs, as some are finicky when it comes to registering they've been given petals.
- The Petal Cone has a sweet spot for showering others and should not be used too close or too far away from the target NPC.
- Every individual NPC in the elevator can only be showered once. This applies to multiple instances of the same NPC in the elevator.
- Some NPCs that enter the elevator at some point can be given petals while outside of the elevator and it will count, such as showering Scag while she is in Floppy Shoppy.
- Players can server hop to find a server with 4 NPCs in the elevator.
"Sit in [X] chairs on floors."[]
The player must sit in as many unique chairs as the challenge says while in the elevator or on floors. This challenge cannot be progressed or completed in the lobby. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- Each chair can only be sat in once.
- Not every chair in the game can be sat in. The currently known list of functional chairs goes as follows:
- Every chair and couch in Cardboard Mansion that is pulled out.
- Every chair around the dining table of Mozelle’s Humble Castle.
- One chair inside of Toolbox Thrift to the left, it is next to the pinata man in the chair.
- The chairs on the inside of the safe room and at the start of Hotel Floor.
- The chairs at the ends of the paths of Fun Flood at Squishy's.
- The couches inside of the main house of Happy Home Party.
- The chair at the start and chairs in the safe cubbies of Suspiciously Long Room.
- The logs around the fire of Two Stud Camp.
- The chair that can be spawned by WilliamPlayz57 in the elevator.
- The chairs in the Ticket Printer side room of UES.
- The stools on Button Competition.
- The spots players choose on Snowy Slope.
- The picnic tables at BFDI.
- The driver seats of every car and the chairs underneath the playset at the end of Toolbox Speedway.
- Players can force other players out of chairs by throwing snowballs at them.
"Buy [X] things from floors."[]
The player must buy as many items as the challenge says while in the elevator or on floors. This challenge can be progressed and completed* in the Lobby. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- The challenge is incremented through purchases using coins on shop floors or Ticket Printer.
- The Ticket Printer in the lobby counts towards the challenge despite not being on a floor.
- Unique items do not have to be bought, stacks count towards the goal.
- Free items do not count as purchases, even if in shop floors.
- Spending other currencies, such as Floor Tickets and Challenge Credits, does not count towards the challenge.
- The cheapest shop item to buy in mass is the Purple Orb in Curse Cove. There are 50 available at 5 coins a piece.
- *The Ticket Printer in the lobby takes 30 minutes to finish per ticket, so theoretically a player could sit around and only buy tickets if they really wanted to.
- Buying Infinity Cafe Items in the lobby count.
"Hit Voombas [X] times with projectiles."[]
The player must shoot or hit Voombas as many times as the challenge says while in the elevator or on floors. This challenge cannot be progressed or completed in the lobby. If the player dies, their progress will not reset.
Tips:
- The individual shots landed on Voombas are what count towards this challenge, not just the destruction of them.
- Therefore, armored Voombas are best for this challenge, as they can take more hits before exploding.
- UES is the best floor for this challenge, with 5 Voombas spawning, one of them having a chance to be an armored Voomba.
- There is a confirmed range of 6 to 13 hits.Cite error: Invalid

"Get a floor streak of [X]."[]
The player must reach a floor streak of whatever amount the challenge says. If the player dies, their progress will reset.
Tips:
- Players should avoid doing this challenge in public servers if they are afraid of being griefed by others.
- If the player chooses to do this challenge in a public server, they should not say they have it in chat to avoid any griefers.
- In general, this challenge gets easier the more experience the player has with the game.
- Being sent to spectator mode will not increment the challenge, so players should avoid it when possible.
- Some floors that commonly send players to spectate mode are Four Corners, Snowy Slope, Temple of, Something, and Dance Party.
"Have [X] effects applied at the same time."[]
The player must have as many unique Effects active at one time as the challenge says. This challenge can be progressed or completed in the lobby. If the player dies, their progress will reset.
Tips:
- Effects are the small icons that show up above the player's HP when certain things occur, the goal is to have the desired number of these active for at least 1 frame.
- The effects must be unique, stacked effects only count as 1.
- Players can sometimes complete this challenge in the lobby by applying effects to themselves through use of items like Jerm Pop or Magic Mirror.
- Currently, the most effects a player can give themself at one time (without saving streak) in lobby is 11. This is through the use of RED JUICE, Jerm Pop, Magic Mirror/Wet Cement, Fizz Jug/C4, the Magnet, the Lightweight Americano, Speedy Latte, Fafa Tea, Healing Hot Chocolate and the Strawberry Infinity Cake.
- Players can also ask other players to hit them with Snowball or C4 to give them effects.
- Other easy-to-get free effects are fafa, Rain Boots, Fountain of Oceanus, Mark's Hat, Inhibitor, Red Block, Ancient Inhibitor, Rat Poison, and Cuteness overload!!!!!!.
Trivia[]
- The "Hit Voombas [X] times with projectiles." challenge was disabled on 12/30/2024[2] for a short period after its introduction, but was reintroduced on 1/11/2025.[3]
- There is a placeholder challenge used while players are still loading assets. The challenge is "Don't blink for 1000 seconds." with the progress always being at 82/1000, and is not a real challenge any player can get.
- Before the 12/14/2024 update, challenge streaks could only last for 30 days maximum before resetting. Since then, challenge streaks can theoretically last for 363 days.

- "Purchase a tool from [X] different floor shops."
- "Heal X health in one life."

- If the player has completed their challenge and keeps playing until the roll over, their new challenge will automatically start.
- Before the 12/14/2024 Daily Challenge overhaul, challenges would oftentimes fail to roll over properly and would require the player to rejoin to get their new challenge.
- Players would also have to manually start their new challenge.
