Backrooms is one of the 102 floors that can be randomly chosen or selected by a player. It is currently in-game.
Appearance[]
The floor appears as an empty office-like space with a mono-yellow wallpaper placed on the walls, alongside a carpet with several fluorescent lights emitting a yellow color, along with a loud buzzing sound. For the duration of the floor, the player's cameras will be layered with a static effect.
Almost all of the rooms within the maze are bare, except for the occasional object or structure, such as differently-sized single sofas positioned in a circle, or a fast-food restaurant.
In some parts of the map, there is a closed-off room with two darkened windows and a garage door, along with a green light in a blocked-off area of the rooms as well. Coins can be seen around the map and can be interacted with.
Gameplay[]
When the floor starts, the elevator's lights will suddenly shut down, and the players will be forced out of the elevator as the floor's lights slowly turn on. Many coins can be seen placed around the floor and can be picked up by players. Floor Tickets can also be found, albeit rarely and only in specific areas. You cannot jump in this floor.
The main enemy on this floor is Clover, three of which can be found within the level. There are three traps that can also be found within the level, identified by purple icons with white circles. Luring a Clover to a trap will result in it becoming contained for a short period of time before the contained Clover breaks out. Traps will be temporarily unusable once Clover breaks free (broken traps being identified with red icons with white exclamation marks), but will repair themselves automatically after a period of time.
When a Clover sees a player, a trail that will always point towards said player will show, with the Clover moving in the line afterwards. This would repeat until the targeted player has been killed or has escaped long enough. In this case, it will then move away.
